
Agency Compliance Officer FTC

Join Elysium Healthcare as an Agency Compliance Officer and play a vital role in ensuring our temporary workforce supply chain remains safe, compliant and aligned to the highest quality standards.
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for conducting external audits of agency suppliers that provide temporary workforce services to Elysium Healthcare. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will assess compliance against legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as Elysium policies, procedures and quality standards, helping to ensure the safe and effective provision of temporary staffing across the organisation.
You will review supplier processes, documentation and controls, examining areas such as worker compliance, audit trails and governance arrangements to identify risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement. Through robust auditing and investigation, you will help ensure suppliers meet expectations and maintain the standards required to support high-quality care delivery.
A key aspect of the role involves documenting findings, producing comprehensive audit reports and providing practical recommendations that support continuous improvement. You will investigate compliance concerns, establish root causes and monitor remedial actions through to completion, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and sustainably.
Working as a trusted compliance partner, you will support agency suppliers with post-audit queries and provide guidance on compliance requirements where appropriate. You will also contribute to the development and enhancement of policies, procedures and governance frameworks, ensuring documentation remains up-to-date, compliant and fit for purpose.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.Key Accountabilities:
- Accountable for ensuring external agency audits are completed thoroughly, consistently and in line with agreed standards.
- Accountable for identifying and escalating compliance risks that could impact service quality, regulatory compliance or safer recruitment.
- Accountable for maintaining clear, accurate and evidence-based audit records and reports.
- Accountable for supporting continuous improvement in supplier compliance and temporary workforce governance.
- Accountable for managing audit activity independently, including planning, travel, decision-making and follow-up actions.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a high-compliance or regulated environment, ideally within healthcare, social care, education, recruitment, temporary staffing, HR compliance, audit or supplier compliance.
- Experience of undertaking external audits, preferably at supplier, agency or third-party premises.
- Experience reviewing processes, documentation, evidence and controls to assess compliance against legal, regulatory, contractual or internal requirements.
- Experience identifying compliance risks, control gaps, process weaknesses and root causes of issues.
- Experience producing clear audit reports, documenting findings and making practical recommendations for improvement.
- Experience supporting or investigating compliance breaches, including tracking actions through to resolution.
- Experience working with or auditing temporary workforce, recruitment, employment business or agency processes would be strongly beneficial.
