Position: Band 7 and Band 8a Locum Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Croydon, UK
Salary: £31.17 - £36.11 per hour
Type: Full-time, 6 Months

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Croydon as a locum, offering positions at both Band 7 and Band 8a levels. What you will do:

- Provide clinical pharmacy services within NHS hospital wards
- Conduct thorough drug history taking and medicines reconciliation
- Undertake clinical screening and TTA screening
- Utilize EPMA systems effectively and contribute to safer prescribing practices
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to offer expert pharmaceutical advice
- Ensure the optimal use of medicines and patient safety
- Attend and contribute to clinical meetings and case discussions

Requirements:

- NHS experience
- Hospital ward-based clinical pharmacy experience
- Competency in drug history taking and medicines reconciliation
- Clinical and TTA screening expertise
- Essential EPMA system experience
- Preferred experience with the Cerner system, as it’s used by the Trust

Desirable Requirements:

- Previous experience within a London Acute NHS Trust
- Experience with the Cerner EPMA system adds a distinct advantage
