Theatre nurses

Our Theatre Practitioners and Theatre Nurses prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum.

Theatre nurses at Spire Healthcare run the theatre list without supervision and supervise / mentor junior staff (subject to experience) and perform anaesthetic duties. We offer theatre practitioners the opportunity to develop their skills as their unit performs various surgical procedures.

We welcome registered operating department practitioners - ideally with experience of working in teams and with minimum supervision, but we will accept applications from newly qualified staff.

Radiographers
