Priory Hospital Woodbourne has an opportunity for a HCPC registered occupational therapist to join our team.
Priory Hospital Woodbourne, Edgbaston, Birmingham is a specialist inpatient and outpatient mental health service providing treatment for addictions and a range of mental health conditions, alongside assessments, therapy and psychiatry. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Woodbourne Road and Five Ways railway station approximately 1-2 miles from the hospital.


What you'll be doing
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
  • Coordinate and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans, ensuring effective delivery of interventions and clear communication.
  • Respond promptly to referrals, assess patient needs, and plan and deliver appropriate individual and group interventions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records to monitor rehabilitation and progress.
  • Supervise, support, and manage junior staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-centred care.
  • Ensure clinical practice complies with organizational policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role - Occupational Therapist
Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or a relevant degree (including honours degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, or Master's pre-registration qualification in Occupational Therapy)
