What You'll Be Doing<ul><li>Provide high level secretarial and admin support to GPs and the wider team </li><li>Prepare medical reports, correspondence, and official documents while managing communications, including emails and telephone calls. </li><li>Provide full secretarial support, handling sensitive information with confidentiality. </li><li>Schedule referrals, arrange patient admissions, request investigations, and alert consultants to urgent results. </li><li>Manage post and other correspondence, prioritising tasks for independent resolution. </li><li>Be responsible for the appropriate management of patient appointments and referrals and liaise with patients and hospital staff as required in order to facilitate this. </li><li>Answer phone calls, Send letters.</li><li>Address patient queries and complaints, escalating them when necessary. </li><li>Promote efficient service delivery, seeking opportunities for improvement and business growth. </li><li>Maintain accurate consultant schedules and information on relevant platforms. </li><li>Maintain and update patient records and confidential documents. </li><li>Keep up to date with current policies and standard operating procedures. </li><li> Managing patient billing, invoicing, and payments. </li><li> Processing insurance claims and liaising with insurance companies. </li><li> Have an active role in developing and implementing projects across the department. Promote a learning and supportive environment. Attend Staff Meetings to review and improve working practices/solve problems </li><li> Complete monthly regulatory check lists which are provided by Governance </li><li>Handling patients registrations and reports</li><li>To be responsible for the opening and closing of the clinic and security of the site, issuing visitor ID badges and checking identities. </li></ul>What You'll Bring<ul><li>Proven experience in a senior administrative or medical secretarial role. </li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. </li><li>Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills. </li><li>Proficiency in medical software Emis Web (preferably) and office applications (MS Office, EHR systems). </li><li>Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with discretion. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Certification in medical administration or a related field is desirable. </li></ul>Why HCA UK?
