Exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Dietitian specialising in Gastroenterology based in Uckfield UK with a rate of up to £31.07 hourly for an ongoing locum position. What you will do:
- Assess and manage the nutritional needs of patients within the gastroenterology department, including those with complex nutritional requirements
- Provide specialised advice and support for enteral tube feeding and home enteral feeding HEF
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Conduct outpatient clinics and assess nutritional needs, creating tailored intervention plans
- Undertake patient home visits to ensure continuous nutritional care and support
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting dietary plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and liaise effectively with healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in dietetics
- Recent UK experience working as a Dietitian
- Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK
- Demonstrated Band 7 experience
- Specialised experience in gastroenterology
- Home Enteral Feeding HEF experience
- Proficiency in delivering complex nutritional support
- Skill in enteral tube feeding
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Experienced in running outpatient clinics and undertaking patient home visits
