Ticehurst has an opportunity for an experienced Family Therapist to join our team.
Set within 48 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens in a small village in East Sussex, Priory Ticehurst House is an idyllic location which allows us to provide a highly therapeutic environment, making us the perfect place for people staying with us to begin their recovery. We work collaboratively with the discharge teams to ensure a smooth transition back into existing community services, or to an individual's home, where possible.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role - Family Therapist
Applicants should hold a Master's-level qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (typically a 4-year qualifying course), with mandatory UKCP registration via an approved route (e.g., IFT/AFSP or the College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy). AFSP (formerly AFT) registration is also expected. Applicants should have post-qualification experience in mental health settings, including inpatient and/or outpatient services.

- Provide high-quality systemic family therapy to patients and their families, supporting recovery through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver person-centred care plans, ensuring families are actively involved in the treatment process where appropriate.
- Promote positive outcomes by strengthening family relationships, enhancing communication, and providing education and support throughout the patient's recovery journey.
