Join Us as an NHS 111 Health Advisor in Ipswich Location: Purdis Farm, Ipswich About the Role We're looking for calm, compassionate and patient-focused individuals to become NHS 111 Health Advisors at IC24 in Ipswich. When someone calls 111, you'll be the first voice they hear. Using the NHS Pathways system, you'll assess their needs and provide safe, non-clinical advice. The calls you take can range from simple prescription requests to helping someone in emotional distress. You'll need to stay calm under pressure, think on your feet and record detailed notes on the system quickly and accurately. Full-Time Options (Ipswich CC) You'll work a mix of early and late shifts, starting from 7am to 8am and finishing between 9pm or 10pm. If preferred, you can choose to work only late shifts. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, but you can opt to work more if you'd like. Part-Time Options (Ipswich CC) Part-time roles mainly focus on evening and weekend shifts, but a mix of early and evening shifts may be offered. Weekday shifts are between 4-5-hours (early shifts) or 4-6-hours (late shifts), either early between 7am-12noon or late between 4pm-10pm and longer shifts on the weekends.
