Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Occupational Therapy degree
Desirable criteria
  • Experience as a band 5/student in acute or in-patient adult rehabilitation, elderly care, and neurology
physical skills

Essential criteria
  • Ability to carry out patient manual handling tasks.
Desirable criteria
  • Ability to carry equipment such as wheelchair and commodes in and out of stores/ car and patient`s homes.
General

Essential criteria
  • Hold a full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
Experience and knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge and/or experience of using a range of therapeutic occupational therapy interventions for the treatment of patients with a range of conditions.
Desirable criteria
  • Able to work as an autonomous practitioner
Knowledge and skill

Essential criteria
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, other health professionals, patients or all ages and their relatives/carers, other non-health professionals
Knowledge and skill

Essential criteria
  • Ability to work in a team and have an understanding of what makes good teamwork
Mental Effort

Essential criteria
  • Ability to work under time constraints, ability to work autonomously
