What you will do

  • Support the pharmacy department in delivering high-quality services.
  • Manage the supply and distribution of medications under set guidelines.
  • Ensure medicines are stored correctly and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in audits.
  • Supervise and train junior pharmacy staff.
  • Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Dispense prescriptions and provide advice on the use of medication.
  • Prepare and assemble medicines, including intravenous solutions, under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Requirements

  • Hospital experience is essential.
  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • A driving licence is not required, but reliable access to Luton and a commitment to maintaining patient health standards are vital.
