Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday-Friday, with contribution to on-calls and weekends on a rota basis
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience with Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC. The Princess Grace Hospital, part of the world-renowned HCA Healthcare UK, offers a range of specialist services including complex surgery, medical and intensive care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated junior pharmacist who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care in a hospital setting.

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines and consistently meeting the needs of all service users. You will be responsible for working across all aspects of the core pharmacy service across a broad range of clinical specialties, including medicines management, clinical screening, medicines reconciliation, patient counselling, and providing medicines advice and evidence-based practice for both inpatients and outpatients.

The role will involve providing clinical pharmacy support across inpatient wards and, where required, supporting dispensary services to ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines across the hospital.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support the delivery of safe and effective patient care whilst assisting with the quality, governance, and assurance of pharmacy services across the hospital. You will also contribute to the continuous development of the pharmacy service through audit activity, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and participating in relevant Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs).

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

What you will bring:
  • Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
  • GPhC Registration
  • Minimum 3 months post-registration experience in a hospital setting
  • Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills
