 What you will do:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, functional, and psychosocial needs following orthopaedic surgery or injury. - Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, and independence. - Provide interventions to address functional limitations, including upper limb rehabilitation, strength training, and adaptive techniques. - Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, surgeons, and nurses, to deliver coordinated care. - Support patients and families with education, advice, and strategies for managing recovery and preventing re-injury. - Recommend adaptive equipment, splints, or home modifications to support safe and independent living. - Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with NHS and professional standards. - Contribute to service development through audits, quality improvement initiatives, or staff training.
