What You Will Do

  • Carry out community-based assessments for adults with physical and learning disabilities.

  • Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and other professionals to support service users' needs.

  • Implement therapy plans under the supervision of a registered Occupational Therapist.

  • Support service users with activities to improve independence and daily living skills.

  • Monitor, document, and report progress, adapting interventions as required.

  • Contribute to high-quality, person-centred care planning and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification and/or registration appropriate to the Occupational Therapy Assistant role.

  • Experience working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in health or social care settings.
