Join the In-House Occupational Health Team of a Leading UK Food Manufacturer
OH Medical is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to join the established in-house Occupational Health team of one of the UK's leading food manufacturing businesses.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a business that genuinely values the health, safety and wellbeing of its workforce. You'll enjoy a varied role, working closely with managers and employees across multiple manufacturing sites, helping to shape a proactive occupational health service that makes a real difference.
To support the business's operational needs, the role will initially involve 2:00pm-10:00pm shifts, allowing you to engage with afternoon and evening production teams. Once established, the position will transition to standard daytime hours, with occasional night shifts required to support the clearance of an existing health surveillance backlog.
Offering a salary of £60,000 per annum, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health professional looking for a stable in-house position with variety, autonomy and long-term career development.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering management referral case management assessments
- Undertaking health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry and other relevant screening
- Providing fitness for work advice and workplace adjustments
- Interpreting complex clinical information and communicating recommendations clearly to managers and employees
- Supporting health promotion and wellbeing initiatives across the business
- Advising on work-related health risks and preventative strategies
- Supporting compliance with Occupational Health legislation and best practice
- Working closely with HR, Health & Safety and operational managers
- Promoting a positive health culture throughout the organisation
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives working independently and takes pride in delivering high-quality Occupational Health services.
You will have:
- Current NMC registration
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health
- Minimum of 3 years' Occupational Health experience
- Strong experience in both case management and health surveillance
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Confidence working autonomously whilst collaborating with wider business teams
- A practical, solution-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
