Located in Meriden, Warwickshire, Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31-bedded hospital supporting the NHS by offering level 2 rehabilitation services for males. What you'll be doing The main responsibility of the job is in the role of Responsible Clinician for up to ten in-patients on Arley Ward and in provision of clinical leadership to the team on the ward. A successful candidate would also be expected to undertake assessments of new referrals and may bring their own additional clinical skills to the role Working hours are typically 2.5 days per week on site however, how this is structured can be discussed at the interview and we are able to consider flexible working hours. There is strong governance structure within the hospital and region, and the successful applicant will be expected to take an active role in service and quality development activities and to participate in governance meetings and R&amp;R Service Line meetings, as necessary. Priory Hospital Solihull operates a non-residential medical on call rota with other sites and the post holder is expected to participate on the on-call rota. Resident Doctor - Adult Critical Care / ITU Level 3 Unit<ul><li>Location: London, The Wellington Hospital, St John's Wood.</li><li>Contract: Permanent, Part-Time 1 x 24 hours per week.</li><li>Salary: Circa £750000-£75000 FTE per annum, depending on experience.</li><li>Benefits: Private Medical Healthcare Insurance, paid indemnity, private pension, paid study leave, investment of education or research, plus more below.</li></ul>We are seeking Registrar-level doctors with a background in intensive care medicine, to work on the Adult ITU Ward at The Wellington Hospital, North and South Building. You'll work alongside leading consultants and an exceptional multidisciplinary team to care for patients, adults both short stay and long stay complex needs with a shift pattern of 1 x 24hour shift per week. While we are a Consultant Led Service, we believe in empowering our Resident Doctors, so your role could become expand as much as you wish. You'll have the chance to be involved in audits, projects and quality improvement initiatives alongside the opportunity to join a variety of internal networks. This could be to help steer the services you deliver, speaking up or patient satisfaction focus groups, clinical governance or MDT meetings. Giving you an opportunity to network with your peers, share best practice and expand your knowledge in an unrivalled setting. What you will do:<ul><li>Wording in a team of specialists to provide day-to-day inpatient medical management, including clerking admissions, daily ward rounds, and routine clinical reviews.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internationally recognised consultants, specialist therapists, and nurses in all aspects of medical care for adult patients on the Critical Care Ward.</li><li>Completing a range of medical procedures, including complex airways as directed.</li><li>Leading crash teams if appropriate/ required.</li></ul>What You'll Bring<ul><li>GMC registration and licence to practise in the UK</li><li>Completion of Foundation training and at least IMT-2/Core Medical Training (or equivalent)</li><li>Minimum 3-4 specialist experience in Critical Care Wards / ideally with cardiac or neurological ITU patients.</li><li>A passion for teamwork and delivering exceptional patient care</li><li>Current ALS</li><li>Able to manage complex airways</li></ul>Why HCA UK?
