CYPMHS Consultant Psychiatrist

Are you an experienced CYPMHS Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist looking an opportunity where you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders? Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person. You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Young People Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CYPMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams. As part of this role you will be required to participate in the on call rota for a small group of CYPMHS &amp; ED services. As the Consultant Child and Young People Psychiatrist, your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li> Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission </li> <li> Conduct Admission assessment and ensure effective management plans </li> <li> To participate in the assessment and management of children and young people referred to the Service </li> <li> To conduct risk assessment and review regularly </li> <li> To assess physical health </li> <li> To provide leadership, supervision, reflection, and risk management to the key workers on the team </li> <li> To abide by, and contribute to, the governance arrangements and processes of the service. Eating Disorder Psychiatrist
