What you will do:

Complete Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments for children and young people aged 0-19.
</li>

<li>
Undertake speech and language assessments within mainstream schools for children aged 5-19.
</li>

<li>
Carry out formal and informal assessments to identify and support children's communication needs.
</li>

<li>
Write clear, comprehensive reports to inform decision-making and intervention planning.
</li>

<li>
Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals to implement effective therapy strategies and support positive outcomes.
</li>
</ul>

Requirements:

Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant post-qualification experience.
</li>

<li>
Proven experience completing EHC needs assessments and working within mainstream school settings.
</li>

<li>
Confidence using both formal and informal assessment tools.
</li>

<li>
Current HCPC registration is essential.
</li>

<li>
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel between sites within Redbridge.
</li>
