This role is a part time position of 19 hours per week. 3 days per week. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant you will be: <ul> <li> Assisting Occupational Therapists, Nurses and other MDT staff in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans. </li> <li> Supporting service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services. </li> <li> Maintaining adequate records, entering details in the service user healthcare records. </li> </ul> To be successful in this role, you will have: <ul> <li> GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2. </li> <li> Experience in a similar environment &amp; Mental Health </li> <li> Verbal and written communication skills </li> </ul> Where you will be working: Location: New Rd, Rougham, Bury St Edmunds, Bury Saint Edmunds IP30 9LR You will be working at The Chimneys Clinic, a 23 bedded service providing specialist care that is specifically designed to support women that have a diagnosis of an emerging or personality disorder. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team at The Chimney's, you will support with mindful practice, high levels of engagement and think on your feet to create activities to aid the recovery for each young woman within their journey. The focus of the service is to enable the young women to work on ways to decrease harmful behaviours and replace them with effective strategies to enhance their lives and help them reach their personal life goals.
