Spire Leeds are looking for an experienced Radiology Healthcare Assistant to join our imaging department on a full time basis. You will be there to assist the multi disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination.

Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region's largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week

Duties and responsibilities
  • Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Helping with administrative duties such booking patient appointments.
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient's health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Who we're looking for
  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Cannulation experience desirable but not essential
