We're looking for experienced and flexible Bank Healthcare Assistants to support our acute nursing teams across HCA Healthcare UK's London hospitals. This is a great opportunity for HCAs seeking regular bank shifts, combining flexibility with the chance to work in high-quality acute environments.

We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility for days and/or nights.

What you'll do:
  • Provide clinical support to nursing and medical teams under the supervision of a registered nurse, including basic observations and clinical documentation.

  • Assist with chaperoning patients and supporting clinical procedures as required.
  • Maintain ward stock levels and ensure equipment is safe, available, and used appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams, escalate concerns promptly, and support infection prevention and control through hygiene practices and equipment decontamination.
What you'll bring
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Care Certificate
  • Experience working within an acute hospital and general ward setting
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Phlebotomy training desirable
