About the role Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWPâ€™s Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports. You will only work to assess people for PIP or a WCA, not both.
