How you'll help us make health happen: <ul><li>Be independently responsible for the Physiotherapy management of your patient load and to practice as an accountable professional using reflective practice and clinical reasoning in undertaking specialist assessment in order to provide an individualized treatment program for each patient.</li><li>Obtain informed, valid consent on an ongoing basis which endeavours to keep them involved in their own health care plan. This includes education to support ongoing management.</li><li>Provide programs of care for the MSK patients in your care through assessment and implementation of specialist MSK treatments in order to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.</li><li>Represent and advocate for your patients' needs within the multidisciplinary team, including attending MDT meetings as required.</li><li>Provide appropriate information, education and support for your client group.</li><li>Comply with confidentiality policies as set out by Cromwell Hospital (CH), HCPC and the CSP.</li><li>Respect a patient's right to be chaperoned and appropriately implement the hospital chaperone policy.</li><li>Accept accountability for your clinical and non-clinical actions.</li><li>Maintain accurate, comprehensive and timely patient treatment records.</li><li>Manage clinical risk within your caseload at all times and ensure potential clinical risk is effectively communicated and managed.</li><li>Promote dignity, privacy and safety at all times, with particular consideration of the patient's cultural, spiritual and personal needs and preferences. </li></ul>Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:<ul><li>Degree in physiotherapy</li><li>HCPC Registration</li><li>Enhanced DBS clearance</li><li>CSP Membership</li><li>Member of special interest group</li><li>Further qualification in MSK, sports rehabilitation shockwave therapy, acupuncture, TMJ physiotherapy, and/or alternatively Male &amp; Female Health.</li><li>Proven knowledge experience, competence and confidence in MSK conditions</li><li>Knowledge and experience in fitting Orthopaedic/ MSK braces and other relevant items</li><li>Confident and able to work unsupervised</li><li>Sound clinical reasoning skills</li><li>Commitment to multi-disciplinary teamwork</li><li>Evidence of CPD / record of mandatory training</li><li>Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.</li><li>Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.</li><li>Strong organizational and planning skills, including risk management.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety issues in a therapy setting</li><li>UK healthcare experience</li><li>Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.</li><li>Previous experience working in a private MSK setting in the UK</li></ul>Why Bupa?
