Join us for an exhilarating locum experience as a Band 6 Cath Lab / General Radiographer within the Cath Lab / General Team in Eastbourne, UK, earning £26.44 per hour. This exciting opportunity is available weekdays only from 31/07/2026 to 28/08/2026, with full-time hours from 09:00 – 17:00. Based across General Radiology and the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, this assignment requires immediate availability. Only candidates with previous Cath Lab experience will be considered. Compliance documents and Occupational Health clearance are required.

What you will do:

- Perform a range of diagnostic radiography examinations.
- Provide imaging support during cardiac catheterisation, angiography, pacemaker, and interventional procedures.
- Operate specialist Cath Lab imaging equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure high standards of radiation protection for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, physiologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images whilst maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and audit activities.
- Adhere to IR(ME)R regulations, HCPC standards, and local governance procedures.

Requirements:

- HCPC Registration.
- Previous NHS experience at Band 6 level or equivalent.
- Proven Cardiac Catheter Laboratory experience.
- Competent in Cath Lab imaging and General Radiography.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and IR(ME)R regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Experience supporting complex interventional cardiology procedures.
- Experience using GE, Philips, or Siemens Cath Lab systems.
