What you will do:

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations to ensure adherence to NHS Breast Screening Programme standards.

• Accurately handle patient identification, positioning, and image acquisition while maintaining radiation safety and quality standards.

• Deliver compassionate patient care, guiding individuals through sensitive procedures with empathy and professionalism.

• Engage in quality assurance, audit, and equipment checks to ensure compliance with national screening standards.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in Radiography or equivalent.

• A postgraduate certificate in Mammography or equivalent.

• Evidence of continued professional development.

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

• Knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening Programme standards and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER).

• Enhanced DBS clearance.

• A valid driving licence.
