What you will do:

• Perform a wide range of general radiographic examinations, including emergency, mobile, theatre, and outpatient imaging procedures.
• Deliver high standards of patient care, ensuring dignity, privacy, and informed consent throughout the patient pathway.
• Adhere to Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R), Ionising Radiations Regulations (IRR), and local radiation protection procedures.
• Participate in departmental rotations and support imaging services across multiple clinical areas as required.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Relevant post-registration radiography training.

Registration & Compliance:

• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Knowledge of IR(ME)R, IRR, and NHS clinical governance requirements.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the Equality Act 2010.
• Commitment to maintaining mandatory training and professional standards.
