Duties &amp; responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform a range of standard and complex or advanced procedures as requested by the clinician in Echocardiography including Stress Echoes and Bubble studies and preferably one more field of Technical Cardiology e.g. Stress Tests and ambulatory monitoring</li><li>Act autonomously to deliver appropriate and individualised patient care at all times e.g. Anticipating the need for further investigations on the basis of findings from an echocardiogram, stress test, interrogating complex diagnostic data from CRM devices, and carry out reprogramming to optimise pacing/therapeutic functions and clinical outcome</li><li>Support and assist the Principal Cardiac Physiologist and Cardiology Manager in setting local technical standards in echocardiography and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.</li><li>Assist in the day-to-day management of procedures in the cardiology department taking an active role in planning and organisation affecting service outcomes. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and Vascular &amp; Wound Care-experienced Podiatrists to join our NHS Trust's Community Podiatry team based at eight clinic settings across Hertfordshire.&nbsp; This is currently a full-time permanent post, but the employer is willing to consider a part-time hours opportunity or the following flexible opportunities; job-share, term-time, school hours or compressed working week.
