Here is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 6 Adults & Children's Orthoptist to join a dynamic team in Mansfield. This locum position offers an initial contract of 3 months with the potential for extension. The role requires full-time commitment from weekdays to Saturdays between 08:45 and 16:45. What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive orthoptic assessments for both paediatric and adult patients.
• Administer diagnoses and implement effective management plans tailored to individual patients.
• Work autonomously to deliver high-quality orthoptic care and manage caseloads efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification

• Essential: Bachelor of Science in Orthoptics or an equivalent qualification.
• Essential: HCPC registration.
• Essential: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Essential: Ability to manage both paediatric and adult orthoptic cases autonomously.
• Desirable: Experience with Biometry and Low Vision Practitioner Training.
• Desirable: A valid driving licence to assist with patient visits and mobility.
