Your tasks will include preparation of records prior to outpatient clinics, transportation to the relevant department and filing once complete. Due to the high number of appointments, the hospital completes on a daily basis this is a busy, fast paced role that requires meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. You will be required to lift boxes and move files to departments so you must be happy to take on an active role. Our Medical Records team are primarily responsible for the preparation, tracking and accurate storage of all medical records for the hospital. This is a full-time position for the individual to manage, develop and promote a high-quality medical record and medical secretarial (NHS typing) service that is effective, efficient and responsive to the needs of the hospital and Consultant partners whilst maintaining compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation.
