Pay rate: £25,810 per annum This role includes a mix of day and night shifts - Day Shifts - 7:30 am - 8:00 pm Night shifts - 7:30 pm - 8:00 am Weekend &amp; Bank holiday work included. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.<ul><li>Provides practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation. </li><li>Observes and monitors the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate. </li><li>Provide specific interventions with patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse, and following training and competency attainment. Bank Healthcare Assistant | Wards | Private Hospital | Flexible Working | Southampton We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Staffing Bank. This role will support our team on the Wards at our Spire Southampton Hospital. Spire Southampton Hospital offers world-class care, attracting patients from across the South of England and internationally. We deliver some of the best cardiac surgery results in the country. Our Critical Care department and multidisciplinary team offer you peace of mind for our wide range of treatments. Duties and responsibilities; To provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team.
