This role involves regular travel and overnight stays, typically being away from home for up to three weeks out of four, with weekends spent at home. A comprehensive three-week induction programme, ongoing mentoring, and excellent support make this an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to build their experience.

  • Support workplace health promotion initiatives where required
  • Gather and record accurate information to support clinical decision-making
  • Drive a Mobile Medical Unit to client sites across the region and occasionally nationwide
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality and GDPR compliance

Criteria
  • Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
  • Ability to travel extensively with regular overnight stays - you can be away from home for around 3 out of 4 weeks of the month, however, you will always be home on the Friday night for the weekend
  • Suitable home location to safely park a Mobile Medical Unit overnight
  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician, Emergency Care Technician, Army Medic or similar would be beneficial
  • Sports Science graduates with experience carrying out baseline health assessments are encouraged to apply
  • Good understanding of GDPR and confidential record keeping
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary & Benefits
  • £25,000 to £27,000 per annum depending on experience
  • 37.5 hours per week, typically between 8:00am and 6:00pm
  • Contributory pension scheme up to 6%
  • Life assurance
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service
  • Birthday leave
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Health cashback plan
  • Three-week induction and training programme with ongoing mentoring
  • Six weeks' advance diary visibility
  • Fuel card provided
  • Premier Inn account for business travel bookings
