What you will do
• Clinical Pharmacy Services: Provide expert pharmaceutical care to surgical patients, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
• Medicines Optimisation: Review and optimise medication regimens to support positive patient outcomes and reduce medication-related risks.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Patient Counselling: Deliver medication advice and counselling to patients, promoting understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
• Medication Reviews: Conduct detailed medication reviews and contribute to clinical decision-making within surgical pathways.
• Education and Training: Support the development of junior pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students through teaching and mentoring.
