This permanent Consultant Psychiatrist position (37.5 hours per week) will see you join the established multidisciplinary team at Spring Wood Lodge. The service has 21 beds across two wards in a locked rehabilitation setting providing treatment for women with mental disorders including personality disorders. The wards are well supported by a full complement of multidisciplinary team. You will act as a Consultant / Responsible Clinician for patients in this setting. You will have CCT in General Adult or Forensic psychiatry and experience of working with and leading multidisciplinary teams. You will be part of an environment that specialises in providing rehabilitation utilising positive behavioural support principles and empowering service users in their recovery. Spring Wood Lodge is located in the outskirts of Leeds at Guiseley and has close links to NHS services with established care pathways. It has excellent transport links to Bradford, Leeds and is within a short distance of Yorkshire Dales National Park. Consultant Psychiatrist - Part Time Department: Medical and Psychiatry Employment Type: Permanent - Part Time Location: Solihull Compensation: £81,394 / year Description Priory Hospital Solihull are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the team on a part-time basis, managing an in-patient caseload on Arley Ward across 18.75 hours per week. You will be working alongside a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist/ Regional Medical Director, a full time Speciality Doctor who works across the three wards, and a full time Medical Secretary. Located in Meriden, Warwickshire, Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31-bedded hospital supporting the NHS by offering level 2 rehabilitation services for males. What you'll be doing The main responsibility of the job is in the role of Responsible Clinician for up to ten in-patients on Arley Ward and in provision of clinical leadership to the team on the ward. A successful candidate would also be expected to undertake assessments of new referrals and may bring their own additional clinical skills to the role Working hours are typically 2.5 days per week on site however, how this is structured can be discussed at the interview and we are able to consider flexible working hours. There is strong governance structure within the hospital and region, and the successful applicant will be expected to take an active role in service and quality development activities and to participate in governance meetings and R&amp;R Service Line meetings, as necessary. Priory Hospital Solihull operates a non-residential medical on call rota with other sites and the post holder is expected to participate on the on-call rota. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
