What you will do:
- Perform and interpret a range of specialised diagnostic tests within the Haematology department
- Assist in maintaining laboratory efficiency by ensuring that all tasks adhere to quality control standards and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate test results to guide patient treatment
- Support the training and development of junior staff members and contribute to the sharing of knowledge and skills
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving laboratory issues, ensuring a seamless workflow
Responsibilities/general duties:
- Previous experience working in the Haematology department of Blood Sciences is essential
- Registration with the HCPC is required
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Haematology
- Car driving skills are preferable but not essential
