Priory Hospital Hazelwood House has an opportunity for a HCPC registered forensic Psychologist to join our team.
Priory Hospital Hazelwood House, Heath, Derbyshire is a low secure unit for 12 males with mental health needs. It is accessible by public transport, with Chesterfield railway station approximately 2-3 miles from the service and limited local bus links. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.


What you'll be doing
You will join the team at Priory Hospital Hazelwood House. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
  • Conducts timely assessments following referrals to develop effective, person-centred therapy plans using appropriate interventions.
  • Delivers individual and group therapy sessions, adapting treatments and activities to meet clients' needs and therapy goals.
  • Manages an assigned caseload, maintaining regular communication with clients, colleagues, and the multidisciplinary team while meeting agreed timescales.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role - Registered Practitioner Psychologist
This role requires a minimum of a completed and recognised postgraduate qualification leading to eligibility for HCPC registration.

British Psychological Society (BPS) registration is beneficial
