 What you will do:<ul>
<li>Manage complex cases involving long-term and chronic conditions, using your expertise to improve the lives of individuals in the community.</li><li>Conduct manual handling assessments, developing and implementing customised plans for clients.</li><li>Carry out postural assessments and provide specialist seating and wheelchair prescriptions.</li><li>Utilise your knowledge of complex manual handling equipment and disability aids to enhance client independence.</li><li>Plan and recommend vital environmental adaptations, including minor and major adaptations like stairlifts and bathing facilities.</li><li>Supervise and support junior OTs and OTAs, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.</li><li>Autonomously manage a complex community caseload, ensuring excellent clinical recording and organisation.</li><li>Travel across the county of Ceredigion to conduct assessments in clients' homes—use of a car is essential.</li></ul>

A well-managed and friendly team in Pontypridd is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their D2A service for a long-term locum contract. The hourly pay rate for this role is £26 - £30.00 P/H.
