What you will do:

  • Manage complex cases involving long-term and chronic conditions effectively.

  • Conduct manual handling assessments and develop plans in line with findings.

  • Perform postural assessments and prescribe specialist seating and wheelchair solutions.

  • Assess and provide specialized manual handling equipment and disability aids.

  • Identify needs for environmental adaptations and plan both minor and complex major adaptations such as stair lifts and hoist systems.

  • Supervise and support junior Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs).

  • Handle a complex community caseload independently and proficiently.

  • Maintain excellent clinical records and ensure organised management of assignments.

  • Travel across Ceredigion to conduct home assessments, requiring the use of your own car.

To excel in this role, you must be HCPC registered and have a valid driving licence for essential travel requirements.
