What you will do
• Diagnostic Testing: Perform routine and specialist laboratory investigations within Haematology, Coagulation, and Blood Transfusion departments.
• Equipment Operation: Operate Siemens Advia analysers in Haematology, Werfen TOP analysers in Coagulation, and Ortho Swift systems in Blood Transfusion.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all testing is performed in accordance with laboratory protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Result Analysis: Produce accurate and reliable diagnostic results to support effective patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and quality control procedures on laboratory equipment.
• Laboratory Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, infection prevention protocols, and laboratory best practice standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Biomedical Scientists, Pathologists, Clinicians, and wider healthcare teams to deliver an efficient diagnostic service.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate labor
