We have an exciting opportunity to work within our Theatre Team as a scheduler on a full time, permanent basis at Spire Claremont

Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield.

Duties and responsibilities;

To work alongside the Capacity & Utilisation Manager and ensure that all resources are available to support assigned cases.

•Collaborate with the teams regarding short and longer-term capacity planning whilst ensuring that theatre, endoscopy, and Cath lab capacity is maximised.

• To support the site in the delivery of its AOP, admissions targets and revenue performance as a site.

• To escalate any concerns which may lead to loss of cases and/or revenue.

• To support in the completion and distribution of the theatre off duty.

• Act as Chair in the absence of the Capacity & Utilisation manager and the capacity meetings.

• To be the main point of contact for lists, concerns, and escalations in the absence of the Capacity & Utilisation Manger

• To conduct administrative tasks which are to include (but not limited to) allocation and approval of bookings, data inputting and email communications.

Who we're looking for

• Previous experience of working within the healthcare industry or a similar customer orientated organisation.

• Demonstrable ability in problem solving and prioritisation skills.

• Swiftly understand the cause of challenges and be able to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve.

• Able to have difficult conversations with senior clinicians and colleagues to improve utilisation.

• Experience of data collation, analysis, and reporting

• Willingness to take ownership and responsibility to deliver solutions.

• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
