We're looking for a Surgical Care Practitioner to join our Theatres at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. The theatres across our campus provide a vibrant, exciting, and professional environment where the advance equipment and technology is second to none.
London Bridge Hospital offers an exciting opportunity for Robotic Surgical Assistants who want to take their career to the next level. Our state-of-the-art operating theatres support a wide range of specialties, with a strong focus on advanced robotic surgery in Urology, Gynaecology, Thoracic, Colorectal and Upper GI.
As a key member of our theatre team, you'll work hands-on with three DaVinci Surgical Systems and contribute to one of the UK's largest private multi-specialty robotic surgery programmes - with nearly 6,000 robotic procedures completed. You'll also have the rare opportunity to work with a DaVinci Single Port system, one of only a handful currently available in the country.
Although this role is based within Private Care at Guy's Theatres, you will also play a key role in supporting services across both of our London Bridge sites - Main Theatres on Tooley Street and Guy's Theatres within the Guy's Cancer Centre. This cross-site working offers great exposure, a wider clinical experience and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and highly skilled surgical team. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make an impact across two dynamic surgical environments.
What you will do:
At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
What you'll bring:
Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world's leading healthcare providers. In the UK, we're one of the largest providers of privately funded healthcare and have invested over £500 million in the latest treatments, technology, techniques, medication and facilities. Being part of a large multisite, established healthcare group we can offer you unrivalled opportunities for career progression through internal and external courses, as well as working conditions that prioritise both your mental and physical wellbeing.
We believe that by caring for our employees, we empower them to provide exceptional care for our patients. That's why we offer a host of flexible benefits that reflect the invaluable contribution they make every day.
