Location: The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, London
Hours: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Shifts: Monday - Saturday, 5 days per week (early or late shift)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub with a strong background in orthopaedic surgery. Experience in robotic-assisted procedures is highly advantageous. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where innovation and excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our theatre team, you will:
- Deliver expert scrub support during complex orthopaedic procedures, ensuring patient safety and surgical precision.
- Prepare instruments and equipment tailored to each procedure, maintaining up-to-date surgeon preference cards.
- Champion best practices and evidence-based care within the theatre environment.
- Conduct thorough equipment checks and promptly report any issues to the Theatre Coordinator.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Take ownership of theatre setup and list organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
What You'll Bring to the Role
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification.
- Valid NMC Pin or HCPC Registration.
- Proven experience as a Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner, ideally with a focus on orthopaedics.
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgery is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence and motivation to support and lead within the theatre team.
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
