- Processing written referrals onto our clinical system
- Taking telephone calls from patients and other health care professionals.
- Dealing with enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner
- Offering a high level of service to all our patients
- Working closely with hub triage teams to ensure patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Working with local service teams to complete required tasks and activities
- Working well as a team under pressure in a busy environment
- Sharing information and escalating issues as appropriate
- Identifying innovative ways of working

- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
- Excellent keyboard skills / use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- SystmOne or equivalent clinical application knowledge

- Administrative experience
- Previous experience of working in a ‘patient/ customer focussed' role
- Health, safety and risk awareness
- Previous NHS experience
