Spire Norwich Hospital are looking for an exceptional and forward-thinking Radiology Manager to lead our Imaging Department and drive the delivery of outstanding diagnostic services for our patients and consultants. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Spire Healthcare, where you'll play a pivotal role in influencing service quality, clinical excellence, and team culture within one of our key clinical areas.

Duties and responsibilities.
  • Lead, inspire and champion a high-performing radiology team
  • Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services
  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused care
  • Plan, allocate and review workloads, offering constructive feedback and development
  • Take responsibility for effective use of physical and financial resources
  • Implement, monitor and refine departmental policies and processes
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to maximise efficiency and service quality
  • Ensure accurate and safe staffing levels aligned to patient needs
  • Promote a culture that actively supports health, safety and wellbeing
  • Lead on IRMER implementation and compliance across the department
  • Foster a culture of equality, inclusion and professional respect
  • Build strong relationships with Consultant Radiologists
  • Oversee all clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance activities

Who we're looking for.

A strong, motivated leader who brings:
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
  • Significant post-qualification experience as a Senior Radiographer, Team Leader or Manager
  • Proven experience in leading teams to deliver operational and clinical success
  • Analytical thinking and confident decision-making
  • Experience with RIS/PACS and IEP systems
  • Strong understanding of IRMER legislation
  • Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic care
  • MRI experience (highly desirable)
