Spire Norwich Hospital are looking for an exceptional and forward-thinking Radiology Manager to lead our Imaging Department and drive the delivery of outstanding diagnostic services for our patients and consultants. Duties and responsibilities.
- Lead, inspire and champion a high-performing radiology team
- Report directly to the Director of Clinical Services
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused care
- Plan, allocate and review workloads, offering constructive feedback and development
- Take responsibility for effective use of physical and financial resources
- Implement, monitor and refine departmental policies and processes
- Delegate tasks appropriately to maximise efficiency and service quality
- Ensure accurate and safe staffing levels aligned to patient needs
- Promote a culture that actively supports health, safety and wellbeing
- Lead on IRMER implementation and compliance across the department
- Foster a culture of equality, inclusion and professional respect
- Build strong relationships with Consultant Radiologists
- Oversee all clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance activities
Who we're looking for.
A strong, motivated leader who brings:
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
- Significant post-qualification experience as a Senior Radiographer, Team Leader or Manager
- Proven experience in leading teams to deliver operational and clinical success
- Analytical thinking and confident decision-making
- Experience with RIS/PACS and IEP systems
- Strong understanding of IRMER legislation
- Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic care
- MRI experience (highly desirable)
