Spire Leeds is currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join their Clinical Governance team on a full time, permanent basis.
As Governance Administrator, you will support the Patient Safety and Governance Lead and other staff within the department with Safety, Governance and Audit activities. Provide an administrative function for the department ensure all data and information is processed and archived in order that evidence can be recalled as required.
Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region's largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week

Duties and responsibilities
- Co-ordinate a programme of Clinical Governance (CG) meeting dates for the hospital
- Prepare and circulate agenda action plans and supporting papers for all CG meetings and other CG activities including clinical effectiveness meetings
- Provide data and papers for governance meetings through use of reports from Datix and other data sources
- Support with managing incidents and alerts within Datix on a daily basis
- Co-ordinate AQUA activity and associated audit requirements ensuring these are submitted in line with requirements
- Cascade changes in corporate policies as required, and maintain a database of local policies, ensure same are in standard template and updated as required
- Co-ordinate activity to support the safety cross activity across the hospital
Who we're looking for
- Computer Literate with a comprehensive demonstrable understanding of word and excel
- Ability to set up and maintain multiple databases and embed documents
- Educated to GCSE/GCE/CSE standard in English and Mathematics
- Articulate and compassionate - able to build a rapport with colleagues
- Able to analyse and solve problems
- Good listening and interpersonal skills
- Have an eye for detail
- Able to work independently, organise and prioritise effectively in line with Safety and CG Lead priority setting
- Good written communication style
- Experience working within a healthcare setting preferable
