Working 18.75 hours per week, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to medical team at Braeburn House. From managing their diaries, planning meetings to updating records, you will be able to turn your hand to any admin related task.

As the Medical Secretary/CPA Coordinator, you will work alongside the Registered Clinicians assisting with confidential paperwork, service users records and GP letters. You will liaise with external agencies to get up-to-date information on service users and GP letters.

As a Medical Secretary/CPA Coordinator you will be:

  • Supporting the Registered Clinician with letters and general documentation
  • Supporting all meetings chaired by clinical team members as minute taker as requested
  • Receiving and record typing, checking, and amending for spelling and grammatical errors, completing within given deadlines
  • Coordinating the whereabouts of the clinical team to support the Lead Admin/PA
  • Booking in clinical meetings, including CPA meetings, professional's meetings either face to face or via Teams, sending invites/minutes out as per the request of the chair of the meeting
  • Maintaining clinical records accurately with the support of the clinical team as indicated ensuring all clinical documentation and/or minutes are checked and confirmed by a registered professional

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • IT skills including Microsoft Office including Outlook and Teams
  • Communication and organisational skills
  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent
  • Awareness of mental health service provision and willingness to familiarise self with medical terminology, medications etc

You will be working at Braeburn House, a modern purpose-built rehabilitation and recovery service for males suffering from a primary diagnosis of a Mental Health illness that have already progressed in their journey of recovery but still require further support and intensive interventions.
