International Patient Coordinator
London: The Harley Street Clinic Campus and Princess Grace Hospital
Full time 37.5 hours per week, shifts between 8am and 8pm with weekends on rotation

We are recruiting for a International Patient Coordinator to join our International Relations Team based in The Harley Street Clinic/Princess Grace Hospital .
We are looking for someone who can deliver a 5* service to our international patients and provide a professional and efficient service to the hospital, ensuring the cultural needs of overseas patients are recognized and satisfied.
You will also provide a liaison service to patients, consultants and third parties to facilitate the overall care and financial aspects of service to international patients.

What you'll do:
- Act as the central liaison for embassies, patients, and hospital teams, handling queries, referrals, concerns, and complaints, and escalating issues appropriately.
- Supervise the International Department with support from the Team Leader, ensuring high standards of patient support and communication.
- Provide accurate verbal and written translation of medical terminology, procedures, consent forms, and discussions, ensuring full, objective understanding without interpretation or summarisation.
- Support patients and staff with administrative processes, including completing consent and medical history forms, and orienting non-English-speaking patients to hospital facilities, procedures, and health and safety information.
- Deliver sensitive, holistic patient support by escorting patients, addressing individual needs, and assisting patients and families to access local services and amenities in London (e.g. accommodation, places of worship, and personal services).

What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role within private healthcare is essential
- Arabic Speaking is essential
- Previous Arabic interpreting experience is essential
- Excellent Communication skills
- IT Literate
