We are looking for kind, reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a young boy living at home with his family in Skelmersdale.
This is an overnight role where you will ensure he remains safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night in the familiarity of his own home.

Job description
- Healthcare Assistant
- Location: Skelmersdale, WN8
- Pay Rate: £14.50 - £18.00 Per hour
- Shifts: Full Time & Part Time | Nights | 10pm - 8am | Monday - Sunday

- Listening to music and nursery rhymes
- Creative play
- Spending time with other children at nursery
During the night, you will support with:
- Monitoring his safety and wellbeing
- Repositioning and mobility support when required
- Personal care if needed
- Settling and reassurance if he wakes

Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care
- Monitoring wellbeing throughout the night
- Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
- Administering medication as required
- Assisting with Moving & Handling
- Supporting repositioning and mobility needs
- Responding promptly if the child wakes
- Maintaining a safe and calm environment
- Ventilation management
- Seizure management
- PEG feeding
What We're Looking For - Minimum 3 months' care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Comfortable working with children
- Pet friendly
- Reliability for night shifts
