Job Ref 25915
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to support a loving and energetic 12-year-old boy who lives with his family in Milton Keynes. He thrives when his care team brings patience, positive energy, and genuine connection, helping him engage with his personality and enjoy each day to the fullest.
He loves water activities, sensory toys, music, walks, bathtime, and spending time outdoors, so sharing these interests is a great way to build a strong bond and make every day enjoyable.
This role involves providing 2:1 care, working alongside a registered nurse to deliver the highest level of support. You will assist with his clinical needs, including feeding, medication, mobility, and personal care, while ensuring he is safe, happy, and comfortable.
In addition, you will support him after school and into the evening, engaging in therapeutic play and guiding his bedtime routine to help him settle for a restful night.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for carers who are compassionate, attentive, and enthusiastic, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in a child's daily life while being part of a supportive, caring team.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
