Job description
We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support a teenage boy living at home with his family in Loughborough. This role includes both day and night shifts, providing dedicated 1:1 care at home and in school.
Meet Our Client
You will be supporting a friendly, engaging teenage boy who lives at home with his loving family and their labrador dog. He has a great sense of humour and enjoys listening to audiobooks, attending Youth Club, and relaxing with his favourite TV shows and DVDs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to build a positive relationship and make a real difference in his day-to-day life.
During day shifts, you will accompany him to school, ensuring his clinical needs are met while encouraging and supporting him to fully participate in classroom activities, something he genuinely enjoys. You'll play an important role in helping him feel confident, included, and supported throughout his day.
During non-term time, support will be provided within his home environment, where you will assist with all daily living tasks while encouraging and supporting his hobbies, interests, and community activities. Working hours may vary during these periods to reflect his individual support needs.
