Job Ref 26131
Job description
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
Meet Our Client
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in his 20s with complex care needs within his own home.
He is a relaxed, sociable, and happy individual who enjoys engaging with others and thrives on interaction. He attends college, which he thoroughly enjoys, and would benefit from a carer who is enthusiastic about supporting him both at home and within the community.
His interests include sensory activities, exploring lights and toys, watching television, listening to music, spending time outdoors, going on trips in the van, swimming, and visiting brightly lit shops. He also finds great comfort in positive, reassuring interaction and enjoys close, supportive companionship.
During the day, you will support him with his daily routines, including personal care, medication administration, and meeting his clinical care needs as required.
Throughout night shifts, you will ensure his comfort and safety, remaining attentive to his needs and supporting him to have a calm and restful sleep.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a wonderful young man, supporting him to live as independently and happily as possible.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.
Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."
