About us

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.

We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.

About This Role

We are looking for compassionate and confident Healthcare Assistants to provide support to a gentleman in his 50s in his own home.

He enjoys trips to the park, visiting his local church for tea and coffee mornings, and is a passionate Manchester United fan. One of his biggest wishes is to attend a football match with his son and spend more time outdoors.

In this role, you will support him with personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation, shopping, and attending to his clinical needs.

You will play a key role in promoting his independence, wellbeing, and involvement in the community, helping him make the most of each day.

We are seeking someone patient, supportive, and motivated who can help him enjoy the activities that matter most and make a real difference to his daily life.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life."

What You'll Need
  • Minimum of 12 months' care experience
  • Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
  • Clear communication skills
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay with enhancements for nights and weekends
  • Training, including complex clinical skills
  • Regular confirmed rotas and flexible scheduling
  • Reward & recognition programme
  • Supportive management and 24/7 on-call support
  • Opportunity to grow within a values-led, national care provider
Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
